Los últimos meses descubrí que me gusta mucho pintar, ahora estoy pintando un retrato de mi mamá. Espero que quede guapísimo! con sus dorados, por su puesto!

Desde hace tiempo quería unos zapatos con estoperoles y me hice estos tenis por unos €8!! Quería algunos más puntiagudos pero me fueron muy difíciles de encontrar. Me gusta mucho el dorado y el brillo. blink! ♥♥

For a  long time I've wanted some studded shoes and I made me these snickers for about € 8! I wanted some more pointy but they were very difficult to find. I really like the gold and brightness. blink! ♥♥

Harmony Korine's Mister Lonely

Como he disfrutado Mister Lonely!!! Soy muy fan del trabajo de Harmony Korine. Michael Jackson conoce a Marilyn Monroe, muy a lo Coffe and Cigarettes de Jim Jarmush pero sin el ensueño del tiempo subjetivo. Mister Lonely es humana, romántica, peculiar. Me encantan los personajes de Korine, como me gustaría tener un amigo así! Korine nos hace reflexionar sobre las relaciones humanas, los gustos y los placeres, ni que decir sobre formas de vida alternativas y lo que significa la felicidad. Y creo que además reflexiona sobre cómo se crean los mitos, en las repeticiones y las encarnaciones constantes: la performatividad, diría mi Santa Butler. 

Y sobre todo dejar en la puerta los juicios morales.

Mister Lonely as I enjoyed! I'm a big fan of Harmony Korine's work. Michael Jackson meets Marilyn Monroe, much to the Coffee and Cigarettes by Jim Jarmush but without the dream of subjective time. Mister Lonely is human, romantic, quirky. I love the characters of Korine, I would like to have a friend like that! Korine makes us think about human relationships, tastes and pleasures, what to say about alternative lifestyles and what means happiness. And I think it also reflects how myths are created, in the constant repetition and embodiments: performativity, would say my Saint Butler. 

And above all stop at the door of moral judgments.

Since I fell for you

Susan Collis es brillante!! vimos esta exhibición en la Ikon Gallery de Birmingham el año pasado y no ha habido quien la supere. Entras a una habitación casi vacía, algunas maderas tiradas, mesas con rastros de pintura, una escalera, nada más a simple vista y te invade un sentimiento de no saber de que rayos va, que no alcanzas a entender, demasiado abstracto, contemporáneo, brrr!!! Hay un chico dentro que te ofrece una lupa y observas a la gente acercándose para ver a los casi invisibles tornillos de la pared. A donde fueres haz lo que vieres. Nos acercamos a la mancha de pintura de la mesa y ahí está diminuta una piedra preciosa y a lado otra, no era una mancha para nada eran topacios, zafiros, turquesas... y todo el cuarto aparentemente vacío lleno de preciosas, delicadas y costosas piezas construídas. Es muy fácil engañarse!! Me encantó esta exhibición, como ya dije una de mis favoritas, tan creativa, fresca y altamente reflexiva.

Susan Collis's brilliant! We saw this exhibition last year at the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham and I can't get over it. You walk into a room almost empty, some dropped woods, tables with traces of paint, a ladder, I began to feel overwhelmed of not knowing what the hell was that, too abstract, too contemporary, brrr! There's a guy inside that gives you a magnifying glass and then you watch people getting closer to see the almost invisible wall screws. When in Rome do as the romans. We approached the spot of paint on the table and there were tiny precious stones, was not stained at all were topaces, sapphires, turquoise... an apparently empty room was full of beautiful, delicate and expensive built parts. It is very easy to fool! I loved this show, as I told one of my favorites, so creative, fresh and highly reflective.
